Shaowen Bardzell and Jeffrey Bardzell, both associate professors in the IU Bloomington School of Informatics and Computing, were recently named co-recipients of $1.2 million from the National Science Foundation to study "making" as a potential driver of the U.S. economy.

Honorary Award goes to Rachel Charlotte Smith

Assistant Professor Rachel Charlotte Smith has been awarded an honorary award for her PhD dissertation. Also, Rachel Charlotte Smith is the first PhD student at Arts, Aarhus University, who has received a double degree as a result of a common agreement about supervision between Aarhus University and James Cook University in Australia.
