Søren Pold part of Literature Between Media project (AU Ideas Pilot Center)

PIT researcher, Associate Prof.  Søren Pold is part of the cross disciplinary pilot center Literature Between Media, which is headed by Associate Prof. Tore Rye Andersen, and includes researchers from Comparative Literature, Scandinavian Studies, Languages, Aesthetics and Culture, Children's Literature, Media Studies and IT. The pilot center's aim is to investigate current challenges and opportunities to literature brought about by media and digitization, including new formats and literary art forms; from audio-books and e-books to digital and software based literature. Furthermore, the pilot center builds on collaboration with international researchers and partners such as public libraries, publishers and litteratursiden.dk. Søren Pold will in continuation of PIT research look into digital literature, and the technological, business-oriented, institutional and aesthetic frameworks for literary participatory cultures with a focus on new urban interfaces.

First activity of the pilot center is the conference Literature, Media, Sound: http://conferences.au.dk/literaturemediasound
